Brief Description

Description :

The project focuses on the development and testing of a strain gauge-based transducer to measure wall shear force on hypersonic models in short duration hypersonic test facilities. The transducer will be tested in a shock tunnel on a wedge model at Mach 8.46, and the results of skin friction parameters will be compared with the predicted values. The development will present a reliable, high-speed, stress measurement technique.
