Brief Description
Description : | The project aims to develop a new class of vibroacoustic metamaterials which are light-weight and simultaneously offer an enhanced acoustic attenuation which can be directly used to provide necessary protection to the spacecraft structure, and in particular, to the appendages installed. A major focus of this project is to demonstrate the capability of such newly developed vibroacoustic materials on the prototype model of an appendages of various class of satellites. |
