The district has a sex ratio of 884 females for every 1000 males and a literacy rate of 64.9. The project will be conducted in English and Hindi.
Damoh District, on the other hand, has a population of 1,264,219, with a population density of 173 inhabitants per square kilometer and a population growth rate of 16.58. The district has a sex ratio of 913 females for every 1000 males and a literacy rate of 70.92. The project aims to promote science in rural area students through expert lectures by scientists, professions, and teachers, as well as training in laboratory experiments for scientific findings. This will lead to the incorporation of science learning in rural area students for future employment and academic pursuits. Approximately 2000 rural and SC/ST students will participate in the camps, with approximately 15,000 indirect beneficiaries benefiting from the activity. The approach and methodology for the project include meeting with principals, finalizing dates, organizing the camp, sending invitations, and organizing feedback reports.
