Details
Executive Summary : | Thermochemical energy storage (TCES) offers considerably higher heat storage capacity, as compared to sensible heat and latent heat storage without producing any thermal losses during the long-term storage period. One of the major disadvantages of TCES is the life span, the stability of storage material and the initial capital expenses. This study aims at detailed experimental and numerical investigation in assessing the potential of SrBr2 as a sustainable thermochemical storage medium for solar energy. |
