Achievements :

1. The differential index of the Singhbhum Craton is lowest among the cratons of the Indian shield, primarily due to its comparatively low average surface heat production and crustal heat production. 2. The differential index of the Indian cratons and Yilgarn Craton are higher than the cratons globally. 3. Eastern Gawler Craton show very high crustal and surface heat production compared to all other cratons. 4. The above points indicate varying levels of crustal differentiation in the formation of the stratified crust, which could play a role in the stabilization of the craton.
