Executive Summary :

The proposed work primarily envisage several atmospheric model simulations of the Indian climate during the last millennium. The available observational studies that depict the rainfall and temperature climate signals in India that the important MWP and LIA are rather a few. The investigators would simulate and understand the Indian climate variability during the LM with focus on the MWP and LIA through AGCM experiments forced by lower boundary conditions from available model simulations of PMIP.
