Details
Executive Summary : | The goal is to understand the genetic regulation of developmental events in maize anthers by elucidating the functions of small RNAs, particularly an unusual and unexplored class of small RNAs (phasiRNAs) that are highly enriched in grass anthers. Additionally, a novel gene for male sterility would be cloned, and its interaction with other specific small RNAs shall be delineated. |
