Mayo Clinic and CSIR , India signed a formal agreement for collaborative research  in the  area of diagnosis and treatment  of heart diseases  in Oct 2011. Mutual area of  research encompasses  topics as drug, device and biomarker studies relating to heart diseases, chemical biology and applied genomics, and innovation in metabolomics.
