The Centre of Excellence in Science and Mathematics Education (COESME), Pune

The Centre of Excellence in Science and Mathematics Education (CoESME) at IISER, Pune has been set up as a part of the Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching under the ambit of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India. CoESME aims to strengthen science education in India by engaging with various stakeholders, in particular teachers of school and undergraduate level science and mathematics.

Center of Excellence in Space Sciences India (CESSI), Kolkata

The Center of Excellence in Space Sciences India (CESSI) is a multi-institutional center hosted by the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Kolkata, and funded by The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). CESSI aims to explore the Sun’s activity, generate the understanding necessary for space weather forecasting, hunt for gravitational waves, support national space science initiatives, participate in international capacity building activities and pursue public-private partnerships in space science research

Aryabhatta Geo-informatics & Space Application Centre (AGiSAC), Shimla

Aryabhatta Geo-informatics & Space Application Centre (AGiSAC) is to bring geo-information for the benefit of people and sustainable development. o facilitate decentralized planning and decision making. It helps to facilitate Monitoring and Evaluation of Government Schemes & Programmes and to set up integrated natural resources data management system. Along with it AGiSAC is providing services/consultancy based on specific user needs in the field of Remote Sensing and GIS and wider usage of geo-spatial applications through simultaneous support systems/ software.

Orissa Space Applications Centre (ORSAC), Bhubaneshwar

Odisha Space Applications Centre (ORSAC), the apex body of the State of Odisha for space technology applications, is equipped with sophisticated GIS & Computer laboratories with latest GIS and Image softwares. It has a team of well-experienced multidisciplinary application scientists to undertake Remote Sensing, GIS & GPS based projects. In the field of communication technology application, the centre runs GRAMSAT & EDUSAT programme.

Centre for Aerospace and Defence Laws (CADL), NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad

National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR) established the Centre for Aerospace and Defence Laws (CADL) with the objective of promoting the development of aviation, space, maritime and defence laws and policies. The centre promotes the study of Aerospace and Defence Laws by introducing courses, conducting National and International Conferences, Moot Courts, Workshops and also publishing Newsletters, Journals, Books and Articles, besides awarding MPhil and PhD in these areas.
