Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur

Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur is one of the National Institutes of Technology in the country. The Govt. of India granted the institute of Deemed to be University status in 2002, and status of an Institute of National Importance along with all other NITs, in 2007. The prime objective of the institute is to impart quality technical education throughout the country and foster national integration. VNIT offers various UG, PG, and doctoral, and distance programmes.

National Institute of Technology (NIT), Andhra Pradesh

National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh was established in Tadepalligudem town, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh in the academic year 2015-16. The institute is admitting students into B. Tech in 8 branches of Engineering with an intake of 480 students. NIT Warangal is the mentor institute till regular arrangements are made.

National Institute of Technology Govt. Polytechnic, Uttarkhand

National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand (NITUK) is one of the 31 National Institutes of Technologies in the country.The institute is recognised as an Institute of National Importance. At present, the institute offers B. Tech., M.Tech. and Ph.D. programmes. The Institute will be offering M.Tech. this year through CCMT. Initially, the institute started B. Tech. programmes in three branches with an intake of 30 students per branch. Currently the Institute is conducting B. Tech. programes in five branches with an intake of 65 students (including 5 DASA students) in each branch.

National Institute of Technology (NIT), Agartala

The National Institute of Technology, Agartala (NITA) is an institute of higher education and national imporatnce, established by India's Ministry of Human Resource Development in Agartala, India. Presently the Institute offers eight UG courses and PG courses in several fields along with Post Doctoral Fellowships. The Institute’s mission is to help to improve the economic development of the country particularly the North-East states and also the public systems, through pursuit of excellence in technical education, research, consultancy and training.

Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat was granted the status of 'Deemed University' in 2002, and the status of ‘Institute of National Importance’ in 2007. At present, the Institute is offering Six UG Programmes, Eighteen PG Programmes and Three M.Sc. Five Years Integrated Programme including doctoral programme in all above branches.
