SuChem-2018 is being organised to deliberate and understand the advances and opportunities of sustainable solutions in the context of chemistry, through collaboration between a multidisciplinary community of chemists, biologists, engineers and industries. The conference sets a perfect stage to get acquainted with global experts in the core areas of Catalysis and Material Chemistry, Organic Synthesis including Medicinal Chemistry, Environment, Energy, Health care and Agro-chemistry.

EMSI - 2018 includes a wide range of topics in Microscope related to materials' sciences across fundamental and applied aspects (physical, chemical and life sciences), engineering aspects, medicine (anatomy, dentistry, pathology, etc), nanoscience and nanotechnology. The conference focuses on study and utilization of various Microscope methods across the vast research areas. This conference provides a platform to deliberate on recent advances in imaging methods.

The 23rd CRSI National Symposium in Chemistry (CRSI-NSC-23) will be held under the auspices of the Chemical Research Society of India (CRSI). The symposium includes medal lectures, poster presentation apart from special lectures by eminent chemists from India and abroad. The purpose of the National Symposium in Chemistry is to provide a forum for the scientists, teachers and students in the country to participate and discuss the recent development in chemical sciences.

SPSI-MACRO-2018 will be held to promote the recent fundamental understanding and technological advancement in the area of polymer science and technology. The conference will have about 12 plenary talks, 120 invited talks, 80 short talks and 450 poster presentations.

The course contents of this training include the following: Distribution of Glaciers and snow cover, Climate, Morphology of glaciers, Transformation of snow to ice, Paleo glaciation, Distribution of temperature in glaciers, Flow and sliding of glaciers, Glacier Mass Balance, Ice and Snow ablation, Fundamentals of remote sensing, Optical properties of snow and ice, and Response of glaciers to climate change.

IISc at Challakere Campus offers a great opportunity for University and PG college teachers teaching MSc Chemistry. This is a three weeks residential training program equivalent to UGC refresher courses approved by MHRD, Govt. of India.

Workshops consist of Pedagogic style lectures and Hands-on-training or Demonstrative experiments at various Institutes (Five Institutes in Bhubaneswar and two Institutes in Bengaluru).
