Swami Vivekananda Planetarium is India’s first 3D planetarium which has a state-of-the-art active 3D 8K hybrid Planetarium with a nano steam dome.

The Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium (JNP) is administered by Bangalore Association for Science Education (BASE). The BASE is devoted to science popularisation and nonformal science education. The JNP organizes several interesting programs aimed at school students and the general public. These are: monthly star gazing, science club activities, science movies, Sky-theatre shows every day, viewing of astronomical events, etc.

District Science Centre Kalaburagi is functioning under the National Council of Science Museums, Ministry of Culture, Govt of India. The centre is involved in disseminating science through various educational extensional activities in Kalaburagi District and also in the districts of Hyderabad Karnataka area.

Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museum is working under the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), Ministry of Culture, Govt of India.  Museum's objective is to stimulate interest in science education among children and adults alike and to encourage them to pursue careers in pure sciences.
