The Regional Science Centre & Planetarium's mission is to play a leading role in transforming man’s relationship with science, technology, and nature. It also promotes creating an active environment in which the student community of all ages finds ample scope to be curious about natural laws and natural sciences inculcating the process of discovery and innovation.

Regional Science Centre & Planetarium is working under the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), Ministry of Culture, Govt of India.
