Dhenkanal Science Center is working under the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), Ministry of Culture, Govt of India. Center's aims to inculcate scientific temper, foster a spirit of inquiry, portray the recent developments of science and technology and help people delve into mysteries of science. 

Regional Science Centre is working under the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), Ministry of Culture, Govt of India. The Centre aims at inculcating a scientific temper and popularizing science & technology amongst people of all walks of life, students in particular, in the state of Odisha through exhibits, exhibitions, special shows, and educational programs. At present, there are three galleries. They are :
