Community Feedback and Experience Sharing

The views and experiences of the people who benefit from societal programmes of the government are often overlooked and underappreciated, even though they are an invaluable source of insight into a programme’s effectiveness. Through this session, this programme intends to capture the experiences and feedback directly from the community level. 

Discussions on the impact of STI on changing aspirations of the Indian people and the effect of the created infrastructure, ease of technological access, increased employment opportunities, skilling, capacity building, and improved networking amongst various stakeholders will be held during this session. Compactly, it would be “Story of the people, by the people”.

Motivational and innovative stories on India’s growth across all sectors (viz. agriculture, energy, water, sanitation, health and education, housing etc.) will be highlighted during the session. It will help in motivating a large spectrum of society to showcase the change in their quality of life & livelihood through the dissemination of science, technology and innovation.

Highlighting the societal feedback through experience sharing and showcasing impact stories from different states and diversified groups from the KOs, NGOs, field institutions and Community based organizations (CBOs/SHGs/FPOs) supported under various schemes of DST, DBT, PSA and other govt. agencies will be the sole agenda of this session. It will also help in the promotion of the successful technologies, indigenous knowledge, its advancement and increased ease of use with STI interventions.
