Call for Application for STCS Vigyan Vidushi 2025 programme

The STCS Vigyan Vidushi 2025 programme is a summer school to introduce women with undergraduate and postgraduate background to advanced topics in computer science. The two-week programme will be held during the period 16th June – 27th June 2025 at the TIFR Mumbai campus, and will consist of short technical courses taught by faculty members from STCS, TIFR and other research institutes. Lectures will be supplemented by problem-solving sessions, to enhance students’ understanding.

Eligibility: The programme is intended for women who have completed, or are currently in, their second year of undergraduate education in CS/EE/ECE/Maths/Stats or related fields. Students already enrolled in a PhD programme are NOT eligible for the summer school. Applicants are expected to have exposure to undergraduate level courses in basic linear algebra and probability. Students pursuing their master’s degree in the above fields, or those who have completed an undergraduate/master’s degree and are currently employed, are also welcome to apply.
