The invention relates to concrete lightweight blocks which are suitable in housing or any building constructions for achieving reduced weight. The concrete blocks are made light in weight, yet strong enough to resist normal loads by utilisation of waste water- bottles. The concrete blocks are produced by casting in suitable size moulds. As the position of the concrete block is made up of hollow space provided by waste plastic bottles, the block Is light in weight. Besides, the hollow core reduces the weight and the circular shape of the bottle makes the concrete block structurally stronger to resist the load under hop compression. The concrete block can be utilised for building construction where conventional bricks are used. This invention offers abundant benefits such as more contact surface for bond, reduced dead weight, waste utilisation and ease of production.
