IN371000: A method of preparation of molecular hydrogen enriched water (ayush2"jal) by proton exchange membrane based water electrolyzer

The invention provides a process for the preparation of molecular hydrogen enriched water by proton exchange membrane based water electrolytic cell in which molecular hydrogen and oxygen is generated on cathode and anode side respectively. The electrolytic cell consists of a proton exchange membrane (acting as electrolyte and it will allow only (protons) hydrogen ions), anode, cathode, a water tank to supply the reservoir base with electrolytic cell and a power source to supply DC current to the electrolytic cell. The drinking water containing 0.6-1.5 mg/L of molecular hydrogen was prepared. By this method, pure molecular hydrogen enriched water will be produced by passing the molecular hydrogen to drinking water reservoir fitted in the outlet of the cathode side.
