Announcement Time: Annual General Meeting. Methodology: Reprints of published papers and statement of outstanding professional achievements.

Objective: The awards are given annually to three persons or their groups for outstanding contributions in the field of radar Science and technology in the broadcast sense, covering education, research, design, development and/or production.

Criteria: 1. The awards are generally open for Indian nationals for their work done in India. 2. While there is no age limit for these awards, preference will be given to nominees below 45 years of age. 3. The contributions/achievements of the nominee should have the potential of significant impact on future developments in India in the respective fields reorganized for the award. 4. The contributions/achievements of the nominee should be properly documented and be verifiable. 5. The nominee should have demonstrated potential should be properly documented and be verifiable. 6. No self nomination will be considered. Nominations for the awards can be made by Heads of Academic/Scientific institutions, R&D Labs/Establishments (CSIR, DRDO/ISRO/ECIL/Tata Electric, Kirloskar Electric, WIPRO, HCL etc) Indian Army /Navy/Air Force, Service Organizations like State Electricity Boards, Indian Airlines, Air India etc, other agencies/centers like ISI, STQC, ETDC’s etc, other professional societies, sustaining donor members, Past Presidents, Distinguished fellows and council members of IETE.
