Criteria: Nominees should be distinguished metallurgists/ executives who have made significant contributions to the development of metallurgical industries/metal sciences.The award is limited to Indian citizens only.IIM Membership is mandatory. Bachelor?s degree in Metallurgy / Engineering / Materials Science or equivalent or any degree relevant to Metallurgy / Materials Science profession
