Objective: To recognise outstanding research work done by women agricultural scientists. To encourage women agricultural scientists to strive for excellence in agricultural research
Criteria: All women agricultural scientists engaged in agricultural reseach in the designated subject areas in an institute of the ICAR-SAU system are eligible. The awards are exclusively meant for individual women scientists less than 40 years of age and not for teams. The final stages of the research work including field validation trials if needed must have been completed during the five years preceding the year of the award.
