Objective: To institute an award in the Field of Engineering to motivate Outstanding research in engineering and technology.

Criteria: The award will be given on the basis of papers published in the bulletins and symposia proceedings of ISET during one calander year. If there are more than one authors of the paper the award will be equally distributed among the authors unless otherwise requested by the authors in writing. In case no paper is found of high enough merit suitable for the award during any year in any of the two areas as stated above the award in that area will not be given during that year
