Objective: To honour talented young Indian Scientists in recognition of their outstanding work contribution in any branch of Science and Technology coming within the purview of the academy

Criteria: The maximum number of award will be fifteen. In case of exceptional candidate it may exceed fifteen also. The age of the nominee should be below 32 year. The work done in India by the nominees will be taken into consideration for the award.
