Centre for Nanotechnology (CNT), Roorkee

Centre of Nanotechnology (CNT) was established in December 2005 as one of the Centres of Excellence. The faculty at the Centre is involved in developing state-of-the-art facilities at the institute and is vigorously pursuing interdisciplinary research on current aspects of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology

Research Areas: Chemical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences & Biotechnology, Material Sciences

Output & Achievements: 1. Conducted four seminars between 2008-2018 2. Dr. P. Gopinath has got “Bharat Jyoti Award” at a seminar on “Economic growth and National Integration” at New Delhi and got shortlisted as “Great Minds of the 21st Century”. Dr. Debrupa Lahiri from centre recieved "Zwick Science Award 2014 for publication in the field of material testing as ground breaking research 3. Centre has established excellent research facilities and activities
