Launching Entrepreneurial Driven Affordable Products (LEAP) Fund

BIRAC’s initiative - LEAP Fund (Launching Entrepreneurial Driven Affordable Products) primarily aims to address the need for financial support required by a technology-driven start-up in the initial phase through the Incubators. This would enable potential start-ups to pilot/ commercialize their products/ technologies.

Target Audience: Incubators, Startups

Funding Agency: Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC)

Eligibility: Incubator should have been supported through BIRAC’s Bio-NEST programme. Incubator should be BIRAC’s SEED fund partner and should be Operational since last 05 years, with at least 5 resident startups in Biotech/med-tech/life science

Purpose: Capacity Building

Fellowship / Financial Assistance: Each selected incubator will be granted up to 500.00 Lakhs
