Executive Summary :

Earth's atmosphere has a remarkable ability to clean itself due to its oxidizing power, which can lead to the opening of the ozone hole, a harmful ozone hole. Understanding how the atmosphere's components work together to eliminate unwanted chemicals is crucial. Although Earth's atmosphere is primarily gaseous, it contains liquid and solid particles, involving heterogeneous and multiphase chemistry. Although these reactions have been known for a long time, the precise understanding of their mechanisms is still lacking. The progress in computational work on these chemistry is slow compared to experimental studies. With the rapid development of computational power and efficient algorithms for larger systems, it is the right time to explore heterogeneous and multiphase chemistry in the atmosphere using computational tools. Accurate information on these processes will help improve models and better understand the atmosphere's response to various man-made chemicals.
