Executive Summary :

The project aims to use existing optical, radio, and X-ray facilities in the five BRICS countries to monitor and follow up on multi-messenger MM transients, including high-energy short-lived transients like Fast Radio Bursts (FRBs), Gamma-ray Bursts (GRBs), and neutrino and gravitational wave GW MM events. The project will use a global multi-wavelength MWL observational network to support the upcoming O4 run of LIGO-VIRGO-KAGRA LVK GW observatories. The network will cover the entire electromagnetic EM spectrum, including radio to gamma-rays, and provide complete sky and temporal coverage for follow-up and monitoring. The project will also train students and develop human capacity, generating opportunities for early career scientists to pursue impactful international research. The project will also address socioeconomic benefits by bridging industry and academic disciplines, engaging society, and raising awareness through public outreach engagements and capacity building. The project will also focus on the detection of transient alerts from MMA facilities that detect GWs and neutrinos, addressing questions about energy release, relativistic jets, and the structure of jets.
