Executive Summary :

The main objective of the proposal is to develop novel catalysts for the cathode of a Proton Exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) with the objective of replacing platinum catalyst. The work would be to evaluate the performance of these cathode catalysts in PEM fuel cell as compared to a Platinum catalyst, study the performance degradation of these catalysts in an operating PEM fuel cell and understand the life term performance of these novel catalyst.
