Executive Summary :

The rapid development of modern industries worldwide has led to an increase in energy consumption, resulting in the depletion of fossil fuels and the production of environmental hazards. To address these issues, renewable energy sources like wind, solar, and biomass are being developed, but they are only accessible irregularly. scientists worldwide are working on developing eco-friendly and efficient electrochemical energy storage devices, with a focus on the electrode as the most important part. The aim is to fabricate a novel electrode with excellent storage capacity using electrochemical techniques, such as growth of transition metal phosphates and transition metal molybdates nano layers on copper foam. Characterization of the electrode will be done using various techniques, including scanning electron microscope (sEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), EDX, X-ray Diffraction (XRD), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPs). Electrochemical measurements will be conducted to check the efficiency of the fabricated electrode, including cyclic voltammetry CV and Galvanic charge discharge GCD. A hybrid cell will be assembled with the fabricated electrode as one of the electrodes to explore its practical applicability. This research will help fabricate electrochemical energy storage devices on a large scale, enhancing storage capacity, high chemical stability, low cost, longer life, and non-toxic properties. This will help reduce the production of hazards due to fossil fuel usage.
