Executive Summary :

This project aims to create a high-yield passive RRAM crossbar array, characterize its static and dynamic characteristics, develop a comprehensive compact model, explore advanced AI/ML algorithms and neuro-optimization algorithms, and hardware demonstrate neuromorphic computing and neuro-optimization algorithms. A novel fabrication method will be developed, and a comprehensive behavioral compact model will be formulated. The project aims to create an industry equivalent to the microprocessor industry, solve energy crisis for AI and ML applications, and transform India and Korea into a digital leader. The fabrication flow and compact model will be in high demand by semiconductor memory companies worldwide. The successful demonstration of these neuromorphic computing platforms could open up a start-up for accelerating AI and ML, aligning with the NITI Aayog's national strategy for AI and "make in India" initiative.
