Executive Summary :

The project aims to ignite curiosity for science and instill self-confidence in higher learning and studies in science. It aims to satisfy theory concepts through experimental approaches, fostering a lifelong search for science. The project will involve hands-on practice of Digital India schemes, particularly in rural areas, particularly for Scheduled Tribes. Students will learn to solve problems in groups and collaborate, and participate in state and national science competitions. Proposed activities include hands-on science-based experiments, digital application-based experiments, group discussions, role-playing on scientific methods, multimedia presentations, movies/plays, motivational sessions by experts, and activities promoting competition and curiosity among students. The Nagaland government has taken this initiative to promote science technology among the Scheduled Tribes (STs) population, as science education has not been effective in enthusing young minds towards science. The training program will involve children from rural border areas being exposed to science experiments for two hours. This will help in developing the quality needed for learning scientific methods and attitudes, particularly in rural areas.
