Executive Summary :

In this project, it is proposed to conduct in-situ measurement of pCO2 in the Chilika Lake and Devi estuary along with different biogeochemical parameters to develop a robust ML model to estimate the pCO2 vis-à-vis to compute the pCO2 using satelling-derived data to evaluate the prespective of understanding the status of pCO2 and its flux in the coastal ecosystem in future in absence of field data. The finding of the present study is expected to assist the long-term trend of the pCO2, which is highly variable, thereby in the proper planning for obsevational efforts in the future.
