Details
Executive Summary : | Project aims at setting up of a calibration facility for solar radiation measuring sensors for SRRA stations, calibration of measuring sensors of solar radiation from SRRA stations located in northern states, data analysis for up to three monitoring stations including SEC, which would comprise of 1) Development of protocols for preparation of quality report on the surface measurements of solar radiation and flagging measured data, 2) Enhance the quality of flagged data using satellite based estimations after correcting for aerosol used in satellite modelling and 3) Estimating TMY for four project sites for pilot CSP projects. |
Total Budget (INR): | 4,68,09,000 |
Outcome/Output: | 1. Research/test/calibrations facility have been established. 2. Calibration of measuring sensors of solar radiation from SRRA stations located in northern states is being done. 3. Work is in progress for protocols for preparation of quality report on the surface measurements of solar radiation, flagging measured data etc. |
