Executive Summary :

Researchers are working on developing smaller, faster, and more efficient data storage devices. One approach is spintronics, which focuses on the spin instead of charge property of electrons. spintronics has been used in memory devices by manipulating the relative magnetization of electrons in binary digits. The magnetoelectric effect (ME) is another approach, using electric fields instead of electric currents. ME coupling is used in ferromagnetic or ferroelectric (FM or FE) heterostructures, such as YIG and FE materials with ultrahigh piezoelectric and strain coefficients. Magnon-based spin valves reduce joule heating by not carrying electric charge. The study aims to investigate voltage and temperature-dependent studies of FMR and MOKE exclusively on YIG magnon-based spin valves. This approach could help overcome the challenge of reducing device size and improving efficiency.
