Executive Summary :

This project aims to combine solar PV power generation with distilled water production for electrolysis, utilizing waste heat from the PV for pure water production. The waste heat-driven process will decrease the operating temperature of the photovoltaic panel, increasing overall power production while producing distilled water. The system will produce energy-neutral distilled water and recover the overall cost of the water production system in terms of higher electricity production over time. Green hydrogen technology is crucial for converting the world energy paradigm into a hydrogen-based energy system. The project will focus on solar PV farms focused on green H2 production and will also be sold at a household level. Joint publications and patents will be generated over the course of the project.
