Executive Summary :

Social media has become a popular way for people to express thoughts, feelings, and views. However, the widespread use of social media raises concerns about accessing unwanted content, monitoring insults and humiliations against women, and cyberterrorism. Women worldwide face language agnostic abuse, and studies show that nearly 30 women have experienced physical and sexual violence by intimate partners. The World Health Organization has also found that younger women are more at risk. Existing research mainly focuses on English language content, but there is a need for language agnostic abuse detection models. The proposed research aims to develop a deep learning model specifically designed for Hindi and Russian languages, detecting language agnostic abuse against women, benefiting a large section of society in these countries.
