Executive Summary :

The Women Entrepreneurship Development Program (WEDP) aims to develop entrepreneurial traits in women entrepreneurs to create new industries and enhance their enterprise efficiency. The program encourages women to establish ventures, guides them on managing enterprises, and exposes them to novel technologies. The WEDP provides entrepreneurial, managerial, financial, and technological inputs online, enabling participants to start their entrepreneurial careers and become job providers. The TEDP focuses on developing skills and entrepreneurial traits of technical entrepreneurs, encouraging them to establish ventures, provide technical training, guide them on managing enterprises, and expose them to novel technologies. Both programs aim to address the increasing unemployment among educated youth and provide hands-on training in indigenous technologies developed by RD institutions. Both programs aim to help educated youth become self-employed and maximize the potential of underutilized resources.

The development of entrepreneurship is influenced by human factors, including values, attitudes, and motivation. These qualities are acquired through socialization and growth. The training model includes classroom lectures, group discussions, case studies, and games/simulation exercises. These techniques help participants learn about entrepreneurship, gain motivation, and plan for similar situations in their respective areas.
