The training programme focuses on concepts of new generation green technologies for environmental sustainability, waste utilization for product development and delivery, mining of high quality biomaterials, nutraceuticals and pesticide remediation.

The major purpose of the training programme is to develop skilled manpower in the country in plant disease monitoring, forecasting, and surveillance for climate change adaptations.
