The aim of Amreli District CSC is to popularize science and to develop scientific attitudes in the hearts and minds of common people. To achieve this aim, more than 1000 programmes, like Science Education, Fun with Maths, Science Games, Science Dramas, Science Quiz, Removal of superstition, development of Scientific Attitude, Health and Nutrition awareness, etc. and various seminars and pictorial as well as an explanatory exhibition on various field of science, at various level of society, are arranged during the academic year.

The Centre’s mission is to entice children to read, explore, discover and learn about science. Increasing scientific literacy by encouraging selection of learning goals through project-based learning and implementation, provide hands-on experiences to stimulate young minds to test their analytical and problem-solving skills.

The science activities in O.V.Sheth Regional Community Science Centre include providing learning and teaching of Science to students/teachers through experiments, puzzles, games and hands-on activities popularizing science amongst children and the community, explaining the science behind miracles and superstition and motivating students for higher studies and research.

The objective of Kalyan Regional Community Science Centre is to popularise science and technology in cities, urban and rural areas for the benefit of students and for the common man by organizing exhibitions, seminars, popular lectures, science camps and various other programs.

The Sri Sathya Sai Space Theatre is located in the Vidyagiri Educational Institution campus at Prasanthi Nilayam, Puttaparthi. It aims to provide information about Astronomy, Physics, and Mathematics in three languages i.e; Hindi, Telugu, English.

The digital theatre of Science Centre Surat Planetarium facilitates the observation of planets, moon, stars, nebula, displayed on full dome through advanced technology and thus Astronomy Secrets shared with the students and general public.
