Title: | CMOS Compatible mid-infrared tunable metamaterial absorbers for sensors applications |
Area: | Astronomy & Space Sciences |
Focus Area: | Metamaterials and Sensing Technology |
Status: | Under Development |
Social Benefits: | The project being undertaken by ISRO in collaboration with academia is directly or indirectly beneficial to the society. |
Developing Agency: | National Institute of Technology (NIT) Patna, Bihar |
Brief Description
Description : | The project involves detailed study of CMOS-compatible metasurface absorbers for sensing applications, and subsequently, the graphene material will be introduced in the design structure for tunability in sensing. The project includes a full cycle of theoretical work from design and theoretical models of their optical properties, to simulation of new optoelectronic devices. Further, the fabrication feasibility of the designed device will also be explored. |
