Brief Description
Description : | The project aims to develop a compact device to minimize infections, particularly Puerperal sepsis, during labor. The technology comprises a comprehensive system with a vacuum pump, pressure regulator, waste collection components, attachment cup, and hose pipe. Notably, a 3D model of a mannequin is created to design a fecal matter collection cup, which is then 3D printed using FDM. A silicone molding process ensures flexibility, and transparent piping maintains an airtight seal between the silicone cup and the collection unit. The control box, equipped with various components, establishes a closed-loop control system to monitor and maintain negative pressure in the collection cup. |
