Brief Description
Description : | In this research, a methodology of fabrication of hybrid composite structure at the product level has been taken up. The novelty of the project is the development of a graded hybrid composite with CNT filled polymeric matrix for additional stiffness/strength. This project aims to develop a fabrication routine along with a modelling methodology for the composite material, targeted for payload equipment such as an antenna reflector. A modulus of 150 GPa for hybrid composite along with a 1 ppm/oC thermal coefficient of linear expansion is being attempted. |
