Brief Description
Description : | The study will integrate the RS and GIS approach with paleoclimatic records from lacustrine conditions using general sedimentology and magnetic studies, stable isotopic and OSL (Optically-Stimulated Luminescence) dating. This will provide additional information to formulate transition probabilities, to predict the future projection of LU/LC changes (up to the year 2040 and beyond) using the multi-temporal classification method by the Markov-cellular automata model. The results will be inferred from the number and rate of glacier retreats from the past data. |
