Brief Description
Description : | Thoracic impedance is a promising parameter that can be used for monitoring the thoracic fluid level of patients without any invasive procedures. Impedance is a measure of the degree a substance resists the flow of electrical current with a given voltage. Intrathoracic impedance can be used to measure changes in thoracic fluid content, intracardiac pressures, heart rate variability, patients physical activity level, and arrhythmias. |
