Executive Summary :

The Chhattisgarh State Action Plan on Climate Change (CSAPCC) was approved in 2014 and is currently being revised according to guidelines from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Govt of India. The revised draft is in progress to submission to MoEFCC, New Delhi for final approval. The project aims to advance the Chhattisgarh State Centre for Climate Change and Knowledge Management cell, establish a monitoring and reporting system for the CSAPCC, develop a sector-specific vulnerability profile, document agro-climatic zone-wise traditional knowledge coping mechanisms, build capacities of stakeholders, and promote climate change sensitization. The project will also develop a dashboard or web-based application for monitoring and monitoring. The project will also prepare a sector-specific vulnerability profile, enabling policymakers to prioritize adaptation strategies and allocate funds where needed. This project aims to improve existing knowledge, share scientific trends, and organize national workshops for knowledge advancement. It will document traditional knowledge coping mechanisms in Chhattisgarh's tribal communities, focusing on low carbon emissions and eco-friendly pathways. A comprehensive training program will be implemented, including initial training needs assessments and module development.
