Social Benefits: | Using miRNA expression patterns we will construct a machine learning algorithm for a panel of miRNAs and thus create a PCa early diagnosis model specific to the Indian population setting. Early diagnosis of PCa will not only promote healthy life changes through creating self-health awareness but also will save patient from undergoing more invasive method of PCa diagnosis such as DRE, Biopy etc. Early diagnosis will also cut down the delay time in access to the hospital where more robust preventive and treatment strategies could be adopted to reduce PCa associated morbidity and mortality. |
